CPP 301 | Andrew Harding | VP of Security Strategy | Menlo Security
Wednesday Mar 06, 2024
Wednesday Mar 06, 2024
On the podcast today we are talking with Andrew Harding. We discuss some of the biggest recent changes in cybersecurity including the move to remote work, which has created new challenges because companies no longer have control over the infrastructure their employees are using. Traditional network security solutions like firewalls are no longer sufficient, as threat actors have shifted their focus to browser vulnerabilities. Companies need to focus on securing the browser and using a zero-trust security model. Andrew is excited about the potential of remote browser isolation to improve security for remote workers. Remote browser isolation can help mitigate browser-based threats and simplify security for remote and hybrid workforces.

CPP 300 | Ken Underhill | CEO & Co-Founder | Cyber Life TV

Thursday Feb 29, 2024
We are very fortunate to have Ken with us for our 300th episode. He has built a great following around cybersecurity training and education. He really focuses on the fundamentals. Cybersecurity is constantly evolving, but mastering the fundamentals remains crucial for effective defense. He also stresses making training relatable. Don't just train, educate users in a way that connects with their specific roles and challenges. Use Generative AI has the potential to streamline security operations by filtering alerts and reducing alert fatigue. Consider the specific needs and risk profile before implementing zero trust. Zero trust is not a one size fits all solutions. Embrace the human element to all this. Don't blame users for falling victim to attacks, instead, focus on building a culture of awareness and shared responsibility.
